Dramatic lighting is usually apparent in my still life paintings.  One exception is Golden Apple.  The leaves on the apple are painted with 3 different colors of Pearl Ex gold mica pigment.

Copper Colander was used as advertising for a Florida Watercolor Society and a Southern Watercolor Society annual exhibition.  Four paintings in the colander series are shown here.  Several more exist but have not been completed.

The subject of Chain Gang was in a heap under a wooden boat being restored in a boat yard in Gloucester, Mass.  The feather is a figment of my imagination.
