Some watercolors are painted on a surface known as Aquabord. It is an archival ash hardboard coated with a textured kaolin clay. The finished watercolor painting is sealed with a UV light stabilizing varnish, allowing these paintings to be framed and displayed like oil paintings. The varnish deepens the colors and produces a surface sheen similar to oil paintings.
All available originals are included in these galleries. Information includes price, image size, medium, surface, and framing, if applicable, for each painting. Framed paintings may also be purchased unframed.
